PODER is dedicated to improving educational opportunities for underserved communities. Access to quality education is a fundamental right for all individuals and is critical for achieving long-term success and prosperity.
We understand the complex challenges underserved students face and work to address these challenges through innovative programs and services. We collaborate with a wide range of partners, including schools, community-based organizations, and government agencies, to create systemic change that benefits all students, regardless of their background.
Our commitment to social justice drives us to continue to advocate for educational equity and to support students as they pursue their dreams and reach their full potential.
School-Based Program
Our mission is to improve educational outcomes for Latino students and families through a culturally specific, community-led mental health program. We aim to close achievement gaps, reduce disciplinary incidents, and increase family engagement in education by partnering with culturally specific mental health providers, school districts, and community organizations.
